From January through March 2024, Rosseti South provided 92.4 MW of capacity to new customers, which is the same as in the same period last year. The company has implemented 3.4 thousand grid connection contracts (13% growth).

In 2023, Rosseti South PJSC got a consolidated profit under the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) of 3 billion rubles, which is 8.9 times as much as in 2022. The company’s revenue increased by 15.6% to 51 billion rubles.
In 2023, Rosseti South allocated 37.7 million rubles to implement the environmental policy program in the regions of the company activities. That’s a 12% increase compared to the previous year. The funds were allocated for the protection of water bodies, atmospheric air and land resources, environmental monitoring, and equipping of overhead power transmission lines with bird guards.
As a result of the claims work in 2023, Rosseti South received over 1 billion rubles of the principal debt for consumed electricity and penalties.
>Rosseti South specialists installed 30 thousand smart electricity metering devices in 2023. There are 19.3 thousand of them in Rostov region, 5.2 thousand in Astrakhan region, 4 thousand in Volgograd region, and almost 1.5 thousand in the Republic of Kalmykia.
>In 2023, Rosseti South allocated 2.54 billion rubles for the implementation of the electric grid maintenance and repair program in the regions of the company activity. This represents a 32% increase over actual expenditures in 2022 and a 23.5% increase over the 2023 target.
>In 2023, Rosseti South reduced overdue accounts receivable of customers for electric power transmission services by 36.6% (1.7 billion rubles). As of January 1 of this year it was over 2.9 billion rubles. In the total structure of debts, the share of direct consumers is 38.8%, territorial grid organizations - 24.4%, energy sales companies - 20.2%, guaranteed suppliers of electricity - 16.6%.
>In 2023, Rosseti South signed 500 contracts with small and medium-sized businesses for purchase of goods, work, and services The share of small and medium-sized businesses in total procurement was 72.4% compared to 66.5% in 2022. The minimum threshold for companies with state participation is 20%.
>As a result of financial and economic activities in 2023, Rosseti South transferred 9 billion rubles to the budgets of all levels and extra-budgetary funds, which is 40% more than in 2022.
>In 2023, Rosseti South consolidated almost 340 km of power transmission lines (transmission lines) and 216 transformer substations with a total capacity of over 154 MVA. Most of the power facilities taken under control are located in Astrakhan region: 260.2 km of power transmission lines are included on the company’s books and records in this region. Power transmission lines with a total length of 45.3 km are consolidated in Rostov region, 16.8 km in Volgograd region and 16.9 km in the Republic of Kalmykia. In the total amount of power transmission lines included on the company’s books and records, the share of ownerless power transmission lines was 24%, transformer substations - 21%.
In January 2024, Rosseti South provided 35 MW of capacity to new customers, which is 2,6 times as much as in the same period last year. The company has implemented more than 770 grid connection contracts.
>In 2024, Rosseti South will repair more than 2,900 6-10/0.4 kV transformer substations, which will exceed the 2023 target by 1.2%. More than 70 million rubles will be allocated for these purposes as part of the energy equipment maintenance and repair program.
In 2023, the distribution grids of Rosseti South branches received 3.6 bln kWh of energy from renewable energy sources (RES). The share of “green” energy is 13.4% in the overall structure of supply to the grid.
>In 2023, the electricity supply by the grid in the regions of Rosseti South activities increased by 2% to 24.6 bln kWh compared to the last year. The positive dynamics was due to an increase in electricity consumption by municipal and budgetary organizations (+14.8%), non-industrial consumers (+4.7%) and households (+ 2.4%).
>In 2023, after the remote data analysis and raid inspections in the regions of the company activity, Rosseti South specialists prevented over 1.1 thousand cases of illegal electricity consumption totaling 27 million kWh, which is 35% more than in 2022. Such dynamics can be achieved due to the capabilities of modern means of remote control and analysis of electricity consumption, increase in control checks of customers, as well as the development of successful judicial practice for the recovery of unjust enrichment of customers at the expense of illegally consumed electricity.
>Rosseti South plans to allocate 4,6 billion rubles for the implementation of the investment program in 2024. This amount of investment will allow to construct 554 km of power transmission lines and put power facilities with a total capacity of 88 MVA into operation in the regions of the company’s operation.
In 2023, Rosseti South executed about 15 thousand contracts for technological connection to the grid infrastructure in the regions of its activity and provided new customers with almost 440 MW of capacity. The largest amount of work to increase capacity and connect new customers was performed in the Rostov Region: 7.3 thousand contracts for 272 MW (+11.7 % compared to the 2022).
>In 2024, Rosseti South plans to allocate almost 2.4 billion rubles to repair and maintain electric grid facilities in the regions of company activities, which is 14% more than in 2023.
>In January-November 2023, Rosseti South executed more than 13.3 thousand contracts for technological connection to the grid infrastructure in the regions of its activity and provided new customers with 398 MW of capacity. The largest amount of work to increase capacity and connect new customers was performed in the Rostov Region: 6.6 thousand contracts for 248.7 MW of capacity (+21.8% compared to the January-November 2022).
